This is the worst app Ive ever used. It freezes, disconnects from the servers and won send messages. Pictures dont go through almost ever. The app was fine until you changed it and now its absolutely terrible. Its seems like the problems are so easy to fix. It seems like yahoo just doesnt care AT ALL.

I used to love this app. It helped me stay in contact with deployed friends. However over the past few days Ive missed several messages because Im not getting notifications. Ive checked my phone and they are all ok. Fix please!!!

I downloaded this app and lost all my contacts. Worse of all, I receive messages but when I press "send", the messages do not go through! I tried deleting the app and restoring and it still wont work! I miss the old app, so do yourself a favor....dont download this app!!!

This is not yahoo messenger this is stupid app should not be exist I cant talk to my friends it wont let me and I cant find my list . Yahoo you screwed up everything we know about yahoo messenger

Basically its a useless app. Hit and miss. Cant believe Yahoo! allowed this kind of incompetency.

Like the new interface but there are all sorts of issues ranging from connection to massive delays in sending and receiving texts.

Ive been using Yahoo messenger for ten years now, and Ive only seen it get worse instead of better. First was on the computer when the archives were tampered with. It went from being easy to find a days conversation to having to guess what keyword I need to use to see a glimpse of what was said without going into my email. I used to be able to access messenger just fine on my phone, until Yahoo did something stupid.. And took away the web version for me. Now Im forced to download this app just to talk to my friends and family when I cant have access to a laptop. I hate using this app because I have to send multiple times, and my friends do as well, for it to finally appear in my feed! Why?? Its not the Internet. Ive tried 4G and personal wifi. My friend has the same issues with his yahoo app. There are no colors, no bold or italics, nothing that makes it unique or worthwhile. I was surprised to see it asking for my phone number. You dont need that information. Setting up the app was initially confusing, as I was somehow using my "phone" account instead of my actual yahoo account. I shouldnt have had to look up a guide on how to use a messenger service! Please work on your app to make it much less of a hassle to use if youre going to force phone users to download this.

Bring back the original app. Contacts disappear, then show up again. Conversations arent updated for hours sometimes day. #useless

Please bring back the option to see my friends list like the older version. Id like to see and be able to separate whos online versus offline.
