This app is a complete piece of trash. Ive used Yahoo Messenger for many years. They have completely changed it. It added a bunch of people that I dont even know or want to know to my buddy list with NO way to remove them. Avoid at all costs!

I like the old version . Where can I download it ?

This has taken what was once simple and made a huge confusing mess! Where are the "options" and "preferences"? Where is the "status"? Where is my buddy list? Where are the emoticons?? I a million times prefer the old app and it should still be a feasible option. Instead of fixing bugs on the old app, you ignore it and make the issues worse and replace it with this app. Give options and fix BOTH apps!!

Lost my groups and dont know whos online and offline, etc. probably why no one uses yahoo anymore. This project is garbage for several years now. Prolly the new CEO screwed everything up

I use to be able to buzz with my iPhone I cant now this app was great now its only ok why did you change it

I love this app because it enables me to talk to my boyfriend who is overseas where cell phones are spotty!! Thanks for that.

I want my old sounds back, ability to change the color scheme as not everyone likes blue and purple, edit or delete people I no longer speak to, such as my ex husband- I still have to see his face as a contact. Ew. My BF thinks that I am ignoring him. I cant get notified with the little number on my screen or hear sounds. How rude! He wants to move to google chat or pal talk. Yea, thats the ticket. Im sorry, this change is not good.

I loved the old app, this one is horrible! Messages to folks dont get them for hours later, can seem to get the invite new friends to work right and just a general pain in the butt!!

Stupid app wont let you use it unless you add a phone. Im where I cant get access to my phone. Im using a WiFi connection and need to get in touch w someone on IM quickly but I have to verify and since my phone isnt with me I cant do that. Meaning I cant use the app either. Very dumb Yahoo, very dumb.

I cannot get this to work continuously.

This updates the worst! I hate how its connected to your email now! Its hard to figure out & navigate through & I wish I never would have updated it! Put it back the way it was people!

The app is just a scam to get Yahoo into your contacts.

Im giving a decent rating, while hoping that you add status updates to iPhone.

Im having trouble receiving messages. I wont get a notification until about 20 minutes after the fact or if I sign out then sign back on.

Thanks for bringing the messenger back! Love the remake! Full res photo sharing was needed.

This update is terrible. Not able to send videos or video chat. Also no emojis? If the person on the other end does not have emoji or has not upgraded they cannot see anything. Also if they have not updated to the latest yahoo messenger sometimes there is trouble getting the messages altogether. Horrible app yahoo. Sticking to kik. *also - it always seems to be down! It appears to be working but never sends messages. I HATE this new version. Terrible Yahoo - just terrible.
